You wouldn’t believe how many popcorn kernels are on my kitchen floor right now. I was trying to get this recipe done as soon as possible and with that I spun around in a circle with the bag of popcorn… open… and now let’s just say my kitchen has been redecorated.
Now on to the popcorn. While munching on this last night I was trying to figure out what it tasted like. It was so familiar I wouldn’t stop eating it until I knew… and then it hit me! This popcorn tastes like Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. BUT this popcorn is much healthier and sugar free! Woooo!
- 4 cups air poped popcorn
- 2 tbs. coconut oil, melted (extra virgin olive oil will work too)
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 pkts. Stevia (or Truvia)
- 1 tsp. apple pie spice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- Put your popcorn in a large bowl; set aside. In a small microwave safe dish melt your coconut oil (approximately 15 seconds). Once melted mix in vanilla, Stevia, apple pie spice, and cinnamon. Pour overtop of your popcorn and mix with a large spoon/spatula. Once mixed evenly relax and enjoy your guilt-free snack!
- Not only is this snack guilt-free, it's also very filling!
