Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosted Brownies

Remember when I shared my recipe for Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting? I decided to top these brownies with that same frosting and boy are they heaven. If you’re one of those people who love frosted brownies you’re going to love these chocolate peanut butter frosted brownies. I was never one to enjoy frosted brownies until I tried these. That’s when everything changed. Don’t get me wrong, I still love plain brownies. Every once in awhile it’s nice to change things up a bit though. If you make the frosting recipe you’ll only need half to top these chocolate peanut butter brownies. You can eat the other half of the batch with a spoon. I won’t judge 🙂

So the weather is definitely starting to scream fall now! I love it so so much. Autumn makes me happy and makes me more productive. I love not having to have the air conditioning on in the car and the house. I really enjoy the fresh air and it’s even better when the humidity is non existent I’ve started writing down my autumn bucket list. There’s so many things I want to do before winter comes. I’d love to go apple picking and go to a high school football game. We live right by our local high school so I think it would be fun to go to a game. I haven’t been to a football game in over 4 years.

To be honest I don’t really care about football, I just like the atmosphere. My family wasn’t much into sports. They over ever watched the Super Bowl because it was what everyone else was doing that Sunday. To be honest I wish my family would have been interested it in. I like hosting get togethers so it would have been fun to have people over to enjoy some TV.

If you want these chocolate peanut butter frosted brownies to be the best they can be, make sure the ratio is even between the brownies and frosting. I know it sounds like too much, but it’s honestly the perfect amount. The frosting is more like a fudge so it provides the perfect combination.

Just looking at this picture makes me want to take a bite. Of course you don’t have to top these with sprinkles but it sure does make them look pretty doesn’t it?

I rarely go for frosted brownies but when it comes to peanut butter, I’ll take it and your version looks hard to resist.

Yes, the sprinkles DO make the brownies look pretty! I hope you’re able to get to a football game before you’re able to see your breath in the air 🙂

The frosting looks like perfection! I’m sure any football fans would be thrilled to put a few of those brownies away during a big game gathering.
