Cookie Dough Popsicles

Everything is now right in the world, because COOKIE DOUGH POPSICLES.

I’m so sorry this post took me so long to get up. I know I teased you all on instagram about a month ago with a picture of these beauties. Let me first just say that taking a picture of anything that can melt in the summer is almost impossible. It took me so long to finally get the right weather and even then I guess it was still too warm outside. But once we get past the half melted popsicles we’ll realize what exactly these popsicles are… amazing! If you could imagine a frozen, drinkable cookie dough, this is exactly that.

These popsicles are full of cookie dough flavor without being too sweet. If you want the chocolate chips a little more spread out you could easily freeze half of the popsicle and then top with more chips. Myself, personally I didn’t really care if all the chocolate chips were at the top. I liked that the treat kind of starts out heavy but then soon turns light once all of the chocolate is gone.

I took these pictures out on our back patio when I noticed our apple trees. It seems like just yesterday they were starting to flower and now the apples are quite large. All my boyfriend can think about is having to clean up all the apples once they fall off of the tree. Our pear tree however doesn’t seem to have anything growing yet. Is that normal for this time of year?

My garden is also growing like a weed… seriously though I planted too many vining plants. I swear I’m going to have 100 cucumbers just from 8 plants. Luckily, cucumbers are the one vegetable my boyfriend happens to enjoy. I doubt he’ll eat any though. It looks like I might be making my own homemade pickles for the first time. Last week was actually the first time I purchased pickles since my boyfriend and I have been dating. We started dating in 2009… we’ve been a pickleless household for almost 5 years now. Can you believe it? I almost forgot how much I enjoyed them. Now I’ve been eating a spear with my turkey sandwich everyday.

What’s your favorite treat? and what’s your favorite treat from the garden? I’m really looking forward to our sugar snap peas this year and I love brownies.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and your energy needed to keep your site going! I do enjoy reading it.
Your cucumber garden sounds wonderful. I wanted to start one this year, but my hubby disagreed. Instead, we’ve grown tomatoes (with limited success) and bell peppers and yellow peppers with great success. We just moved to northern Alabama and we are having to work with red clay soil + soil brought in. We are in the learning stages for this area. .so I hope it will improve next year! As for SWEETS..give me anything with chocolate!!! Yep, I’m a brownie person too. Also, I do enjoy making all kinds of pies, and my family enjoys eating them, usually within one night. Thanks again Karissa for your insight and time!

      Hi Brenda,

Our tomatoes aren’t doing so well either. It must be the weather. I would send you some of our cucumbers if you were closer 🙂 Thank you for reading! If you like pies you’ll love the recipe I’ll be posting soon 😉
