Creating all kinds of puppy chow flavors is kind of my thing. Out of all of the ones I’ve made this one is probably the prettiest. I really like the combination of the light and dark pieces. It reminds me of a freshly fallen snow and then the snow after the plow man goes by. Yes, I’m weird. It’s been snowing a lot for this time of year. There’s currently a small storm whipping up and it sure does look beautiful outside.

When I went out to grab the mail I thought otherwise. I don’t mind the snow. I just really don’t like when it’s windy and it blows in my face. Since we live so close to the lake it’s kind of impossible to never have crazy wind.

I think I’ll just stay snuggled up on the couch today with a big bowl of this cookies and cream puppy chow.

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? I’m more of a last minute shopper. Since my birthday is Dec. 9th I don’t really like to buy anything for Christmas before then. However, If there is a good deal I will make sure to snag it while I can.

This year I might gift a lot of food. Food is what I know so it’s the easiest thing for me. Plus who doesn’t like food? There’s nothing worse than getting a gift you don’t need or want. When all else fails give gift cards. It will keep everyone happy.

I’ve never had Puppy Chow before. Every time someone has made it and took it into work, there’s peanut butter in it (I’m allergic), but I could totally make yours. Bucket list item!
