Similar to a Dairy Queen Blizzard these Lucky Charms Avalanches are perfect for St.Patricks Day!
Can you believe it’s almost St. Patricks Day? It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the new year. I remember as a child thinking how slowly time went by, now I’m older and I’m wondering where the heck the time has gone. I turn 24 this year. I still can’t wrap my head around that. Luckily I made these Lucky Charms Avalanches to make myself feel young again. Growing up I never actually enjoyed Lucky Charms. I would open the box and pick out all of the marshmallows and just eat those. The cereal combined with ice cream makes the perfect pair. They’re basically a match made in dessert heaven.
Moving day is getting closer and closer and I could not be more unprepared. The only thing I packed so far is my bookshelf and that only took a few minutes. To be fair though I have been decluttering a lot these past few weeks. I’ve been getting rid of everything that I haven’t used in the last year or longer. I hate having clutter, especially if its something I never even use to begin with. I made a pretty nice dent in my closet and now it’s only filled with clothes that I wear often. The kitchen is going to take the longest to pack because everything is going to need to be wrapped in newspaper to make sure nothing breaks. Sadly I’m going to have to cram all of that into the last week because I use most of that stuff daily.
I’m jumping from topic to topic today but can we just can a moment to appreciate this wonderful early spring weather. I’ve officially shut off my heat and I’ve had the windows open letting the fresh air in the past few days. I could sure get used to this.
